Rode to Zion Canyon. The ride into the park was fun, including a long, dark tunnel. Once we got to the visitor center, we had to leave our bike, and take the bus in the park, because no vehicle traffic allowed. Unlike most of the other canyons, Zion is down in the canyon, rather than atop the rim. We went on a 5 mile walk through parts of the canyon, searching for the Emerald Pools, green pools of water that accumulate at the canyon base. This is harder than expected, because the elevation change was rather drastic over those 5 miles. Three hours later, we returned, exhausted, to the visitor center, and rode the bus to see the rest of the park. Then we rode to Cedar City and spent the night.
