January 29th, 2006. A mighty Waagh has been assembled to crush the imperial
crusade, and their allies.
An overview of deployment. With 5 tables, at 10,000 points/table, there's
a lot of boyz.
My Freaks deployed on one of the tables. Unseen is the Helipad marking on
the bulding where the deathkopters are sitting. The outriders got their
scout move, luckily, or else there was no room in the deployment zone for
them.
This is part of (Multiple Slayer-sword winner) Tim Lison's Freak army.
They were on the next table over from me.
A Gargant. More of Tim's models can be seen in the background.
Further down the table.
This armoured company set up right in front of me. There's three(!!!) Super
Heavy tanks in there, as well as more tanks than you can shake a fist at.
At least a fist without a powerklaw!
The other end of the table opposing me. Yup, another Baneblade, and a
Warhound, along with three landraiders and a ton of terminators.
A view down the table. I can find a Gargant, a Squigoth, two battle
fortresses, and a bomber on our side. But where's Waldo?
The following pictures were taken at lunch break, after two turns of action.
The Battle Fortress runs into some Eldar tanks. What's with the PINK tau??
A Doomsday Pattern Battlewagon faces off against some terminators. A Warboss
with his mega-armoured retinue fights more terminators.
Run!!! It's a Titan!!
High overhead, the bomber prepares to make its strafing run.
The buggies appear to be having some problems with the marines.
Another armoured company. I think the Chaos Warhound showed up to help the
boyz, but I wasn't at this table, so I'm not sure what's really going on here.
Guardsmen hold the hill against near certain choppy death!
The gargant appears unharmed. (And unmoved...)
Another angle of the fortress fighting the eldar tanks.
So, you have a lot of boyz, and your opponent brings an armoured company.
The boyz want to krump something. I guess they'll just have to krump the
tanks.
He's not mean, he's just misunderstoood.
